Closing Night at Crater Lake Lodge (5/7)

Driving north to Mt Shasta the day before was a SOLID f’n idea.  The drive from Mt Shasta to Crater Lake sounds MUCH better than a drive from Jamestown to Crater Lake!  Ahhhhhh and such a nice drive it is. Mt. Shasta looked stunning!

We rolled into the Crater Lake Lodge long before check in time, but that was cool, it gave us a lot of extra time to explore.  Did a super easy hike up The Watchman as well.  And there was SNOW!

We stayed at the Crater Lake Lodge of course so dinner was pretty damn good.  The cool part of this was that this was closing night for the season!

Nighttime was f’n COLD but clear, so why not bust out some astrophotography?!

And I may or may not have smashed a lens…. Oops.  Remember photographers, have a filter on your lens!  (Filter is destroyed, but the lens still works perfectly)
