The Cook’s Meadow Elm Tree is another one of those iconic spots in Yosemite National Park! And during sunrise, the light casts a SUPER dramatic light on the tree. Plus, you get a great view of Half Dome in the background.
While we were waiting for the sun to come up, there was still plenty to photograph! For example, if you turn a little to the left, there’s an awesome view of Yosemite Falls.
And who can forget the gorgeous fall colors!
Ahhhhh, here comes the sun. Damn what a beautiful scene! Honestly, we caught this scene on quite possibly that last day for the 2021 season. The leaves on the Cook’s Meadow Elm Tree did not last much longer at all.
And some more fall colors of course.
