Family Photography at the Albion Spray Park, Maple Ridge

Pretty much every summer in recent memory, the City of Maple Ridge has me photograph several of their parks.  This year, the Albion Spray Park was on their request list.  Now, picture this scenario.  Me, a guy, showing up with a giant telephoto lens, to hang out in a park where kids are playing in their bathing suits.  That’s not creepy at all, and definitely wouldn’t earn me (at best) stink-eyes from pretty much every parent there, right?

Easy solution of course!  Message a friend with photogenic kids, and said friend pretends to be my wife for half an hour, and BAM, it’s like I’m photographing my own kids!  (Actually…. Suzie has been cool enough to loan me her kids for several summers in a row now, and they take AWESOME photos)
