Sometimes the urge to get out into nature completely overtakes me. I had a couple hours to kill one evening, and I wanted to do something by the water… especially now, while the water levels are CRAZY high and powerful. I ended up going to Gold Creek out at Golden Ears Provincial Park in Maple Ridge.
Did a little bushwacking to get to the fastest part of the creek, and damn she was moving!
Wandered upstream after that to where the water was a little calmer, and I could see some mountains. Told myself I wasn’t going to go into the creek because it might be dangerous, but… when the hell do I ever listen! (Sidenote: IT WAS F’N COLD)
Dried myself off and went a few more minutes upstream, where I got the photo set that I wanted the most…. The creek leading into the mountains! <3
