Hobo Inn: Elbe, WA

If you’re in the Mt. Rainier area and looking for a cool place to crash for the night, then you gotta check out the Hobo Inn in Elbe!  (They’re not paying me a single cent for this post, I just thought it was a super fun place to stay for the night on our way into Mt. Rainier National Park)

I mean, you’re staying in a legit train caboose, which is awesome. Their restaurant is solid too – check out the blackberry salmon if that’s your jam!

And if there’s anyone reading this who lived in the Vancouver/Squamish BC areas in the 90s, you actually might recognize some of these Mt, Rainier Railroad Co Dining cars as original Royal Hudson cars - on some, you can even see the original paint.

Here’s a quick photo tour around the Hobo Inn. Enjoy!
