I’m gonna preface this post by saying (and feel free to say it out loud with me) FUCK COVID-19!!
I feel so bad for everybody trying to plan a wedding through all this. Honestly, virtually all my brides have moved to 2021, and I think it’s the way to go. Shitty deal for everyone, but if you have to do the whole social distancing thing for your wedding, that’s just no fun at all.
Anyway, one of my 2020 (now 2021 brides) Chelsey was nice enough to talk about her experience with us on some of the 604 bridal groups on Facebook. Here’s what she had to say:
“We’re one of the many who are likely having to move our wedding date. I want to give a shout out to one of our vendors Ray Urner Photography for being beyond accommodating with our potential change. Not only is he super accommodating to our situation, he went above and beyond provide us an ear and advice about pros and cons for holding our original date vs postponing. It was great to talk to someone in the wedding industry without feeling pressure or hidden motivation. Also, was he willing to hold our original date and postponement date, move our deposit, and provide us with the same 2020 package next year with no extra fees (I’ve heard some horror stories). Just wanted to share this positive experience with you all and offer the name of an awesome vendor in case you’re looking for one.“
See Chelsey and Vas’ engagement photos HERE, and then see what Paintillio did with them HERE at the Fraser Valley Wedding Festival. (Spoiler alert: it’s f’n cool)
FYI, we are still accepting bookings for later on in 2020, and 2021 is shaping up to be busy with all the rebookings. Remember, we’re based in Vancouver, but photograph weddings all over the world. Interested in working together? Drop me a line!
