Mt. St. Helens – Miner’s Car

The Miner’s Car inside the blast zone of Mt St Helens is a stark reminder of what happened on the morning of May 18, 1980. This is a 1972 Pontiac Grand Prix, which belonged to Donald and Natalie Parker. They were legally in the blue zone that morning with their nephew Rick to check on some local business. Unfortunately, they were three of the fifty-seven people who would not make it out alive.

Probably not pristine enough for collector plates??
