We’re a year late on this wedding (thanks for that, Covid) but we got there eventually! It just happened to be on one of the hottest days in July. But more on that later! At least I wasn’t one of the people that had to wear a full suit. 😝
I had my friend Stephanie Steiner Photography along with me all day, and she photographed some amaaaaaaazing bridal prep photos with Chelsea and her bridesmaids while I was off with Joseph and his groomsmen. And this is EXACTLY why we do two photographers!
And I got to hang out with the dudes!
I was actually completely unfamiliar with this venue. Honestly, I didn’t even know there were any properties in White Rock with actual acreage! We were at the Arnold Mikelson Mind and Matter Gallery and this place is gorgeous. If you’re not familiar with it either, it’s a gallery with monthly rotating exhibits from 30+ artists. Also, the grounds are beautiful.
And I’m pretty sure Joseph liked what he saw….!
And now, off to the world famous White Rock Pier!
Holy hell was it ever HOT. If you’re ever been down the White Rock main drag, you know there are about a million ice cream shops. We ended up taking a quick break partway through to cool off with some frozen deliciousness. Affogato for me, because I’m never one to turn down caffeine with my ice cream. 😂
Now for my favorite part of the day, the formal portraits. This is where we can get really creative with our imagery. Of course, the iconic White Rock pier – CLASSIC White Rock wedding photography!
Back to the Arnold Mikelson Mind and Matter Gallery for the reception! And I gotta say, food and drink were DEFINITELY on point. And the dance floor was popping all night!
