Yosemite National Park - El Capitan Meadow

The fall colors were really on display at El Capitan Meadow, and that was going to be our next photo stop in Yosemite National Park!

We parked the car and walked through the meadow all the way to the Merced River, capturing the beautiful autumn foliage along the way.

Of course, we had to turn around every so often to look back at El Capitan, and the rock climbers making their ascents. Y’all are INSANE, but I respect the hell out of ya!

Finally, I stumbled upon this interesting scene way up high. Can anyone guess what is going on here? All these streaks were moving all over the sky!

We headed over to a different area of El Capitan Meadow to photograph reflections of El Capitan in the Merced River.
