Yosemite National Park – Yosemite Falls from Cooks Meadow

Yosemite Falls is usually nothing more than a trickle in October, but the preceding week’s bomb cyclone changed that.  With the amount of rain that got dumped, the flow of Yosemite Falls resembled that of what it is normally like in spring and sounded like a roaring Boeing 747!

The clouds were still lifting, so the scene in Cooks Meadow was part ominous and part beautiful. Definitely something you don’t get to see every day!
