Big or small, or even just the two of you – your wedding day is STILL your wedding day!
Because of Covid-19, many couples have traded the traditional idea of a wedding for an elopement or a smaller wedding with just their closest friends & family. (Look on the bright side though, you probably didn’t REALLY want your third cousin there anyway, right?)
Whether you have decided to keep the guest count low because of this silly little Covid pandemic, or you have dreamt up this magical day to be reserved for just the two of you from the start – Let me encourage you. This is a day to remember for the rest of your life, and I know that it is going to be AWESOME.
All the Feels
Micro weddings are FILLED with emotion. There is something special about just having only your closest inner circle around you. People are usually much more willing to be vulnerable & express emotion in smaller settings. Documenting moments full of emotion is EVERYTHING to us and our couples!
Real talk – planning a smaller elopement style wedding is way Way WAY less stressful! And if you know me, you know that I am all about that stress free life. When you are less concerned over everything coming together and pleasing all of the people that are invited, you can be more present in every moment. Like we alluded to earlier… you don’t have to worry about impressing your third cousin!
A Celebration of You
You should enjoy your own wedding. WAY too many couples end up spending all of their energy pleasing everyone else on their wedding day. But YOU won’t have to, because when you have a smaller wedding with fewer guests, or even no guests, the focus is on the two of you – just how it should be!
